CRACK!
Anna shrieked, curling into a fetal position with her knees drawn to her chest and her head hidden under her blanket.
“Elsa!” the little girl whimpered. Her big sister had always come to comfort her when it had stormed before. Now her cries went unanswered. She began to weep, her chest tightening and burning with grief and fear.
In her room, Elsa too was frightened of the storm; but not for herself. She knew Anna would be terrified and couldn't sleep so long as the storm lasted. Frost coated her bedspread, her stress causing her room to be coated in ice shimmering darkly with lightning patterns.
“Anna,” she whispered.
When morning dawned, the storm had passed. The sun rose, and its rays spread through the colored glass panes of Anna’s window. The light found them there, the big sister curled protectively around the younger, her arms wrapped tightly around the little girl.
“I’m here, Anna, shh,” she had whispered, hugging Anna tightly. She had not even spared her powers a thought, thinking only to comfort her sister.
“Elsa!” Anna had whimpered, burying her face in Elsa’s skirt and crying.
“I’m here. I’ll always be right here.”

Shorter even than most of my one-shots, but. I know it jumps around a little just bear with me...
